Dr. Mark Nosiglia
Lead Chemist
Education
- Postdoctoral Polymer Chemistry Research Scholar at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
- PhD, Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis
- BA, Chemistry at Illinois Wesleyan University
Research Interests
Mark leads the chemistry team in the development of novel sorbents for the selective remediation of PFAS in various water sources. As a graduate student Mark studied mechanically interlocked molecules and supramolecular chemistry, which have been helpful in the development of new technologies for the selective removal of PFAS. Mark is particularly excited about expanding PFAS remediation technology to new polymer scaffolds.
Fun Fact: Mark was a defenseman for the IWU lacrosse team.
